With over 15 years of experience, Rina has built a reputation for excellence in esthetics education, advanced skincare techniques, and professional training. She has personally served over 60,000 clients and expanded her business to include five successful spa locations.
Her passion for education led her to establish Sugaring House Beauty Academy, where she mentors the next generation of estheticians, equipping them with both technical expertise and business acumen to thrive in the beauty industry. Under her leadership, the academy has become a school partner with top skincare brands, including Dermalogica, G.M. Collin, and Image Skincare. Offering comprehensive esthetics, cosmetology, and nail programs, the academy provides students with cutting-edge training and real-world experience.

Saundra Carroll is a retired Cosmetologist and esthetician with an impressive 50 years of experience in the beauty and wellness industry. As a former salon owner, she cultivated creativity and client satisfaction thrived. Licensed in five states, Saundra has had a diver and fulfilling career, including working alongside pioneering doctors in Hawaii who were among the first to specialize in laser resurfacing.
Her expertise also extends to high-end resorts, including the Fairmont Princess Resort and various other luxury establishments in Scottsdale, Arizona, where she honed her skills in providing exceptional skills in providing exceptional skin care services. Saundra began her teaching journey in Arizona driven by her passion for skincare and her desire to share knowledge with others. She has been trained by the masters of the industry, and her dedication to education has inspired countless aspiring beauty professionals.
Now enjoying retirement, Saundra finds joy in spending time with her 3 grandchildren, who light up her life. She remains passionate about skincare, loves sharing her extensive experience with others, believing in the transformative power of beauty and self-care
Sony has had a passion for facial treatments and has been an integral part of the beauty industry for over a decade. Her journey began with a basic esthetics class at Career Training in Great Falls, where she honed her skills and began her professional career at Priya Esthetics as an Esthetician.
Eager to expand her expertise, Sony completed a Master Esthetics class and earned her license, solidifying her position as a skilled practitioner in the field. In 2021, Sony took on a new role at Sugaring House Beauty Academy and Spa, where she continues to work as both a Master Esthetician and a Master Instructor.
At Sugaring House, Sony provides a wide range of services, including facials, sugaring, permanent makeup, and eyelash lift and tint. Her dedication to her craft and commitment to education inspire both her colleagues and clients alike
With over 25 years in the beauty industry, I began my career in Boston, Massachusetts, in 1998, earning my Cosmetology License and working in a spa before opening my own. After moving to Virginia, I gained experience at top beauty spas and ran my own successful spa for 12 years.
In 2010, I became a licensed instructor and taught for seven years in Beauty School. I later expanded my career in Houston, Texas, before returning to Virginia to own and operate Natural Nails in Tysons Corner until 2018. Most recently, I worked at a Med Spa (2022-2023), refining my skills in advanced skincare.
Now, I’m dedicated to educating and mentoring future beauty professionals, helping them build successful careers in the industry.
